Navigating the website
In keeping with the theme of our assignment, namely advertisements and media literacy, we decided to design our presentation in the look and feel of a corporate website for a moominvalley-based PR firm called Hattifattener & Son. The names of the pages (found in the upper right corner) were therefor chosen to emulate what you would find on such a website, and hence, are not quite in congruence with the given assignment.. To help you navigate the site in regards to the assignment SE01, we provide you with this handy key:
Our Goal
The goal of Hattifattener & Son is to handle the public relations of a company, a moomin, a snork or any other moominvalley citizen (usually by providing them with consulting and/or advertising materials). The goal of the student teachers behind this page is to summarize the 10th module of UNESCO’s curriculum for MIL education.
Our Process
How you would summarize the process of a moomin-affiliated PR-firm is beyond us, but according to the Cambridge Dictionary, a ’process’ is ”a series of actions that you take in order to achieve a result”, and that’s just what a lesson plan is, isn’t it?
Our Philosophy
Have you ever read the memoirs of Moominpappa? Talk about philosophy! Sokrates, who? We can’t even wish to be on the same level. But this page, while lacking in the philosophy department, does have a quick and dirty discussion on the use of digital tools and media in the classroom
Resources
On this page you will find a complete list of references used in this work; beautifully formatted according to the HB-recommended version of the Harvard style of referencing, of course.
